Welcome to Ricador Fishing Charters. My name is Capt. Rick Gardner. I have been working as a guide in Marathon, FL since 1968. Since that time I have done just about every type of fishing that can be done in the Keys.
I now specialize in fishing the calm waters of Florida Bay as well as Light Tackle Offshore, Reef, and Bridge Fishing. Fishing in Florida Bay is great for family groups because it does not get rough and the action is usually non stop. For the more adventurous we can head offshore for sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, and tuna weather permitting.
March thru June is a great time to target the large tarpon that congregate around the area bridges. April thru October is prime time for dolphin(mahi mahi). November thru April is great for sailfish. Mangrove snapper is good year round.
Half and Full day charters are available. Filleting and packaging your catch is included at the end of trip. All you need to bring for your trip is what you want to eat/drink, sunscreen, camera, and the desire to have a fun day fishing.
